How much less do you need in a slow cooker. Is it a third of liquid?

I take it you are not following a recipe as such, op? What are you (sliw) cooking

I follow recipes myself, so use whatever the recipe suggests liquid wise, but if I'm doing a whole chicken, I don't put any liquid in at all.

I've done a lamb joint and put about a centimetre of stock in the bottom, and it turned out ok Smile

Hth

Sorry, it was a pork joint, not lamb Blush

Just a sausage casserole, with a packet mix. Not sure how much water to put in

I did beef with a packet mix once, and I put in 2/3 of the liquid it says on the packet, it was fine, hope that helps Smile
