I only have bread, onion, eggs and dried mixed herbs and butter do I just mix all to gether

I don't have onion in mine, but yes, just mix with melted butter. I put in a little lemon juice and rind if I've got it.

Fry the onions in butter gently first.

Whizz bread to crumbs and put in bowl. Scatter herbs to taste over. Whizz chunked-up onion with a few tbsp of water to a sludgy consistency, then mix with the herby crumbs. Drizzle in some oil or melted butter, then pack into a dish and bake for 20-30 mins at 180°c.
