DingDong - Pls help with ICING again!

I used DingDong's excellent recipe for a fudgy chocolate icing to cover my son's Treasure Chest birthday cake, and had loads left over, so stuck it in Tupperware in the fridge a couple of weeks ago...

It looks/smells fine, but is quite firm. Does anyone know if/how I can make it re-usable again..? I was thinking of beating it in the Kenwood and adding very hot water v slowly until back to a spreadable consistency..?

Any expert advice? TIA.

Leave it at room temp fir a few hours then beat it. or cut it into squares, call it fudge and eat it all yourself.
