Grocery Planning / Budgeting... any good apps you use?

I find this a difficult topic and generally am at the grocery store far too often and I'd like to change this.

I have problems planning ahead and I'd like to save a bit on my food budget as well. I'm sure daily shopping is not the best way to go for a family.

Anyway i'm looking for some help and thought there might be an app that others use.

Any comments most welcome.

No app, I just look at what's already in. Use that to plan the week's menu, make a list of further purchases needed and head to the shops. I like tge bbc good food website as I can type in ingredients tgat I have to get recipe suggestions.

Specificallt, what is it you would want the app to do?

Thanks Helles.

I'd need help with planning what I need to buy I guess, so I make less frequent trips to the supermarket and hopefully spend less.

I'm not as organised as you sound. If I can plan meals online and have it link to a shopping list I think I might be able to make improvements.

I've read about an app 'food on the table' which sounds pretty good.

I use 'food planner' from the play store. started with the free version but then upgraded to the paid 'pro' to get rid of the ads. It's fab Wink

Smiles I wish I was organised! I do that because I know how very disorganised I am! The weekends that I don't do it result in a week of takeaways.

I use food planner pro too, also started out with the free one then upgraded! It's v good and does all you said. You put in meals then it can make a shopping list for you. You can download recipes but I have entered a lot of my own bc once I've dune that once the next time I make it the shopping list can work it out by itself!

thanks.

I'm logging on to check out food planner pro now. Sounds like it might be just what I'm looking for.
