You know those jars of pate from Lidl

When you've had some, do you put the lid back on?

Its reminding me of those jars of shiphams paste. My mum told me not to replace the lid because it could develop botulism.

Will it??

I put the lids back on, refrigerate and use within a day or so. I don't know anything about botulism though.
