I use the one from Good Food magazines 'ultimate' cookbook by Angela someone. Neilson maybe. I'll have a google.

I can't find it on the Internet, the recipe, and I'm not at home so I can't look it up either.

Melt 4oz marg.
mix 4oz SR flour, 4oz caster sugar, 1oz custard powder and 1oz cocoa powder, then add to melted butter.
Mix together.
Roll into ping pong ball size, place on baking tray and flatten middle with fork.
15 min at 180 degrees and enjoy!

You can add chic chips or nuts if you like.

ShatnersBassoon · 03/01/2014 12:43

Mary Berry's recipe with condensed milk is very easy and gives good chewy cookies.

LittleTownOfBOOTHSlehem · 03/01/2014 12:45

No problem savoy Wink
Peermon, is that 180 fan or ordinary oven?

these are amazing. Always chewy and especially gorgeous with lemon zest and sultanas

notso · 07/01/2014 10:40

There is a recipe on here that is lovely, it's called squishy cookies or soft cookies or maybe just cookies

LilacPeonies · 26/01/2014 14:03

Got to agree with Gwen - they're amazing but the recipe says 4 per tray. I did around 6 per tray and they were still huge. I think 8 per tray would be best.

elsielegallez · 26/01/2014 22:15

These chocolate orange cookies are delicious or these chewy cookies made with condensed milk can be made with loads of different flavours.

I make Nestle Toll House Cookies but use Crisco instead of butter. I also refrigerate the dough for a couple hours before baking. So soft and gooey Smile
