What to have for dinner tonight?

I have a massive cold and a fussy baby, just me and DH tonight. Any ideas on what to have? Something that is very easy to make, but lots of flavour. Completely out of inspiration...

Need something nice & light after All the stodgy food

Duck and red cabbage. Yum

Had Duck last night, so that's a no... Agree though, very yummy!

Trout sounds good, but DH is not so much into fish Xmas Sad

Think I'm looking for some sort of fling it all together, bung it in the oven kind of dish Xmas Grin

My very easy to make and lots of flavour dinner would be a clear miso soup with chilli ginger, garlic, bak Choi and thin sliced rare steak. You don't make it in the oven but it's five minutes cooking, five minutes prepping, very tasty and refreshing.

Maybe lamb chops with tomatoes and diced potatoes, baked with thyme and paprika sprinkled over? (add the lamb after the potatoes have been baking for twenty minutes, unless you part boil them first.

I don't know what you've got in so those might not be relevant.
