Small Ham...boil, bake or slow cook?

I have a small fanning joint It's 1000g and half crescent.

Planning on this for NY's day would like it soft and juicy but not sure how to cook

I always boil them (usually in Coke or apple juice) then glaze and finish off in oven as my experience is that the boiling keeps them moister than other methods.

Lol meant to read gammon joint!!! Think I will book then finish off in oven I don't gave honey or any jams but have some red current jelly so will glaze with that
