My one yr old loves bolognese mince. Steak mince cooked with tinned tomatoes, chopped sweet potato and carrot. Easy peasy but firm fav.

i think at that age they pretty much all love mincey / boognesey type things

and also fish in cheese sauce...

or veg in cheese sauce.... with pasta...

My 1 year old loves anything in white sauce - like mini version of tuna pasta bake (tuna, sweetcorn, basil, pasta, spinach in white sauce with pinch of nutmeg), today I did a salmon and broccoli version in cheese sauce and it went down a treat which is good as I made about a million portions for the freezer so would be buggered if he turned his gorgeous nose up! Definitely mincey stuff as others have suggested, like baby versions of bol and shepherds pie. Veggie shepherds pie with red lentils, onion, pumpkin, carrot, parsnip and a bit of grated ginger and garlic for the underneath bit instead of mince (or just that filling on its own). Chicken mince, carrots, pumpkin and sweet potato cooked together then mashed. Cheese on toast cooled and cut into thin fingers. Good luck lorna
