dh bought duck eggs, supermarket didn't have any other eggs.
can I just boil them? and how long for soft yolk and hard white?

want to bake waffles tomorrow, how to get the quantity right (usual recipe has 4 medium hen's eggs)?

eggs are posh bird ivory duchess, they don't look very big.

exactly the same as chicken eggs
BUT
they have a more delicate flavour - I'd not cook with them
they are wonderful fried or even poached
the white is slightly blue
boiled with pepper and soldiers of toast - nom nom nom

but if they are all you have, use them just like normal
