Tefal frying pan

I really need to replace my old 28cm Tefal frying pan and having a look on-line there seem to be loads of different models from supermarket basics through 'superior' to ones for induction hobs. I am cooking on an ordinary electric hob, would like something that will last a few years, tolerate abuse from DH and go through the dishwasher - has anyone any recommendations?
And WHY do Tefal have so many ranges? Surely they can't all be so different .

I don't put mine in the dishwasher, but my Tefal 'everyday' frying pan is great and still going strong after a couple of years regular use!

We got a tefal pan on offer from sainsburys the other day. seems perfectly serviceable.

I recently bought a tefal 5 piece set for an induction hob. They weren’t cheap and both frying pans warped on first use. Tefal say that I must have used too high a setting !!! Check out Tefal on trust pilot before you buy, they have a poor rating by 86% of people and their customer complaints department and very unhelpful.

Frying pans warp if you run water into them while still hot.
We only recently read this when we got new pans as all our previous ones warped.

DW detergent is very abrasive - small print on non-stick pans recommends hand-washing despite large print claiming DW safe.

I've got a cheapie Tesco ns frying pan, must be over 10 years old & still as good as new. Only been dw'ed once, but shouting at DH stopped him doing it again.
