Christmas pudding in slow cooker

Eek, planning on cooking pudding in the slow cooker but how long for? And do i put water in the bowl bit (not my cooker, never used one before!!) and set it to high??

I've done this, the pudding was a bought one so therefore already cooked, I added water to come up half way of the pudding, any higher and it floated!! I cooked it for couple of hours on high, it really just needs heated through, you can't go wrong with timings really. I used boiling water when added. Good luck and it should be fine :)
