Help - turkey freezer burn

Can anyone help? I was offered a reduced price turkey earlier this year from the farm I bought my turkey from last Christmas. It was already frozen, so I just lobbed it in our freezer without really looking. I've just got it out to defrost (we eat our Christmas meal on Boxing Day) and it looks like it has really bad freezer burn. Can I still use it or do I need to do a mad dash to the supermarket to see if there are any left? I'm gutted as it's a Kelly Bronze one too.
Any advice???
Thanks

Apparently according to a website I was reading it is still safe to eat but the freezer burned bits will be dry and tasteless so advice was to cook as normal and cut away dry bits and discard.

I'd probably buy a new one myself, but I do agree with what 5HundredUserNamesLater says.

Thanks, I managed to get a half price bronze one in in Waitrose Smile, so am covered. Makes me wonder why I stress about getting a turkey though as there were loads left at 2.30!
