Cream filled Yule log, can I make it now?

I've decided to make a Yule log for Boxing Day. I've made the cake part and it's rolled up, cooling. The ganache for the outside is also cooling but the filling is whipped cream. If I fill the cake now with cream, will it go all soggy before Boxing Day?

I'd leave it and assemble on Boxing day, whipped cream can become runny.
