fruit compote - how long will it keep?

I made a winter fruit compote last Thursday for a dinner on Friday - lots of dried fruit (figs, prunes, apricots etc) plus red wine, spices and honey, cooked over a low heat and then reheated on the Friday for the dinner. There was quite a lot left over so I put it in the fridge and promptly forgot about it until today. There is no way it will get eaten before Thursday, so should I just bin it now or will it keep that long? Or could I freeze it? Suggestions please!
