Thought I'd get prepared this year and made Jamie's get Ahead Gravy yesterday. It tastes lovely by the way!
Once it was done, I put the container on the windowsill to cool (about 7pm last night) and totally forgot to put it in the freezer! It went in at 8am this morning... The heating was off all night and the windowsill is fairly cool anyway, so... will it be OK to eat? DH is worried as obviously the gravy was made with chicken, but I was thinking that we can heat it up to boiling on Christmas day to kill any bugs.
What's the MN verdict?
