can i make mini apple pies in same way as mince pies?

One family member doesn't like mincemeat, I wondered if I can use home made stewed apple to make a mini apple pie?

Yes, I made some yesterday! Make sure your stewed apple isn't too wet tho, otherwise your pastry bottoms will be soggy! I only added a tiny bit of water to the apples, also added cinnamon, mixed spice and some sultanas to spice them up a bit. DD 10m loved them!
