What can I cook with...

Half a tub of creme fraiche
Some soft goats cheese
A leek
A swede
Half a cabbage

The usual store cupboard ingredients (rice, pasta, tinned tomatoes, cheddar cheese, frozen peas etc).

The next shop is coming tomorrow. My imagination is struggling with this one. I have some quorn mince and chicken pieces in the freezer aswell...should I just give up and order a Chinese?!

Have you eggs?
I'd do a frittata.
Failing that, casserole of chicken with the veggies and rice.
I don't care how weird and wonderful a meal is. If there are leftovers, they get eaten.

I have eggs! Good idea. I'm the same, I need to find a way to use everything!

Shred all the veg, stirfry, then add beaten eggs with crème fraiche and cheese. Will be good.

Mix some creme debauchee and the goats cheese.
Season chicken, top with the cream mix.
Shred the leeks, rub with some rice, salt and pepper with your hands.
Spread leek/rice mix in tin, chicken on top, some white wine and water to cover rice.
Cover initially, then remove cover to brown.
Bake.
Shred cabbage as salad.

Debauchee??
Not quite what I was going for.

I did a chicken casserole type thing with all the veg and rice. Dp said it was nice and is taking leftovers to work tomorrow. I've kept the creme fraiche for scrambled eggs for breakfast tomorrow and the goats cheese will be for lunch. God I love it when nothing is wasted! Thanks for the inspiration!
