Flat Peaches? Wtf?

Ok, I bought them, because I am a sucker, but what are they? They look like they might be part apricot or something?

We have them in Spain too but I haven't bought them yet.

They're flat. Ok, flattish. They look squished, they're much wider than they are high.

Where from?

The in-laws had these in France recently -not seen them here (then again haven't looked for them anywhere)

I found them on our local (reasonably good) fruit stall.

They're peaches,and they're flat (ish)

They're the only ones dd will eat because they're sweeter than ordinary peaches. Plus being smaller they're less messy! She thought they were doughnuts, which amused her, and to start with she wanted them just for their novelty value but really does prefer them - at least I know if I buy them she'll eat them.

NQC -they said they were really nice.
Must look out for them now as I'd forgotten about them until now
