The Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall kale pizza is wonderful. It goes a bit crispy, like Chinese restaurant seaweed. here

I've heard it's ok mixed with smokey bacon and chilli...

No - but you have my sympathy. I hate kale. Grin

Kale crisps are surprisingly good. Toss in a little oil with plenty of salt. Spread out on baking tray in oven for 5-7 mins. Eat warm

Kale pesto is nice - cook it for a few mins first then substitute it for basil in any pesto recipe. I have loads of this in my freezer from last time we got a huge bag of kale in the veg box. I have also been known to shove kale in curry and lasagne and it tastes nice in both.

I cook it, blitz in food processor and mix with mash. Having it tonight with sausages :)

I had some last night with my roast dinner last night fried in oil until just a few edges browned, then add pepper and red wine and flash fry for about 30 seconds.

We have about 5 kale plants plus about 10 swiss chard plants - always a leafy household here! They both grow all winter long.

Caldo nero! It's a Portuguese soup, really simple. Just kale, potatoes and Portuguese chourico (use Spanish chorizo or any other smoked/spicy sausage) cooked in chicken stock.

Kale is also yum in curry and is great in a saag paneer - palak means spinach but saag means any greens, and kale, turnip tops, mustard greens etc are all regularly used in India.

There's a kale pesto recipe here that seems straightforward (never tried it, not keen on kale myself)

I love kale. Plain. Steamed.
Gwennie has a kale chips recipe.
