Dd is 5.5 months old and eats very well, now on 3 meals a day & likes virtually anything apart from apples!! The problem I'm findng is that she is pooing for England. I have changed at least 3-4 soiled nappies of every colour every day !!! She doesnt seem ill, has no temperature and takes 20oz of milk aswill.

Apologies for discussing nappies and food together, not very palatable!! but has anyone any ideas as to what foods would help her or is this normal.

This is her usual diet :

Breakfast- banana farleys rusk with oz milk
Lunch - own pureed carrots (2 cubes) followed by organix jar of fruit with rice or mashed banana or melon
Dinner - broccoli 2 cubes mixed with 1oz milk & 3 tsp rice followed by petis filous strawberry or rasberry (we not keen on the apricot!!).

the fact that shes giving you soiled nappys is a good thing (i know mines sixs month and i still feel sick when it comes to appy changing time just in case
i dont know if anyone else knows this but banana is quite high in fiber and so are some other fruit but cant remember which ones what we do with our ds is give him fruit only once a day useualy tea
porrige is good for them and quick to make ground down a batch in a blender take out what you need in the morning add milk and a cube of fruit peach is mines fav quick stir throw in microwave for 1 min stir cool and serve
dinner we try and stick to savoury tried adding the carrot to mashed potatoe or sweet potatoe you can also make these up in advance and freeze
then
then tea is usualy farleys or fruit pot two fruits mixed together
