Simple sweets recipes please

dd would like to make some sweets for her friends. Last year she made fudge and it went down a storm. She can handle boiling sugar safely so I think the main criteria is that it is easy to make it look nice.

Any recipes please?

coconut ice always goes down well when I make it! it's usually gone in minutes. Smile

Now that is a really good idea. I'd forgotten about that :)

There we go - ingredients are added to the shopping list!

Do you know which fudge recipe she used? I've had limited success with fudge!

Peppermint creams are really easy to make with few ingredients and they can make lovely little snowmen. Grin

Truffles are really easy too.

Ironically I think it might have been the carnation one looking at it but she added cocoa powder too. I can't quite remember though. Sorry.

No worries, I'll have a go and see what happens! I like to put a little bag of homemade sweets in with the hampers, and they're good for teacher gifts too :)

I just thought I'd let you know, I made the fudge from Carnation today, it is amazing! Thanks :)

We've made this a few times, pretty straightforward, fun watching it bubble up and tastes great
