What cut of beef would you use?

Hello,

I have just bought a Magimix and would like to make some home made mince as my DC find it very difficult to chew supermarket mince, even if it has been cooked for a long time. What cut of beef would be best to be chopped up very small for cottage pies or casseroles for the DC? I usually use braising steak for casseroles but not sure if that is right to be chopped up small. Any advice would be great, thanks a million

Braising steak works fine although I find a traditional grinder/mincer breaks down meat better than a Magimix

Agree with Cogito - one buzz too far with a Magimix & you have paste rather than meat.

Thanks although I am a bit gutted! I have the smallest kitchen and really wanted to be able to do everything with one mixer. Will give it a go. Thanks
