What are you feeding your kids in this hot weather?

I normally do a hot but simple lunch, like pasta or cheese on toast and then a more substantial hot dinner but tonight almost fainted while the fish cakes were in oven.
What are you giving yours (mine don't like sandwiches ) ????

wehave an outback diamond - it is fab, we spit-roast chickens on it sometimes

we are living off cold meals at the moment - ham, cheese, cucumber and tomatoes, bread and butter, yoghuerts etc.And lots of houmous!

Mostly BBQs although the children will only eat burgers & sausages and are really really bad with salads etc ... after a weekend of bbq's turned the oven on for their dinner tonight which was home-made chicken nuggets, baby corn and whispers oven chips. For us, it was marinaded chicken fillets done on BBQ with salad and bread.

Would welcome ideas for kids bbq meals other than the old burgers and sausages! Wish mine were as good eaters as those on this thread

Oops ... didn't mean to put 'whispers' in bold!

Lots of finger foods. Tonight though we had cheese, cold ham and pizza slices followed by ice-cream cornets and fruit.

Lots of fruity drinks to.

Still waiting for my dinner - Chips and sausage .
