How do I separate a solid frozen lump of chicken breasts?

I shoved them in the freezer and forgot to separate them. There is now a solid wedge of 6 chicken breast in a big lump.

So for I have wacked with a rolling pin, which dislodged an outer edge one, but had no impact on the rest. Smashed on the kitchen counter which broke a cup, and dropped from a great height which had no impact at all. So I shoved them back in the freezer!

But now I need themSad

Do you need all of them or just some of them?

Just some of them. I have even tried chiselling down the demarcation lines to no avail

Um you will have to defrost them all and cook them all. You can re freeze as long as you cook them first.

Well I d soak the lump in cold water to separate them, but its not safe to refreeze the unused ones after. You could keep the unused ones in fridge for a bit. Or could you cook all of them, then you can refreeze. That's probably not very helpful!
