Anyone got any great recipes using breadcrumbs ?

Ok so I had some stale granary bread that I've just popped in a food processor to make breadcrumbs. Anyone got some tasty recipes that I can use them in..?

chicken breast, topped with Mayo (&red pesto if you have it) sprinkle bread crumbs on and bake in the oven for 20-25mins.
You could also butterfly the chicken if you wanted :)

ps.. cook for maybe a bit longer if the breasts are quite thick

Chicken breast, slice it and put to one side. Crack an eggwhite into a bowl and put the breadcrumbs and some spice in another bowl. Roll the chicken in the egg, then spiced breadcrumbs, straight onto a baking tray and a few sprays of frylight. 180degrees for 15-20mins. Golden crispy chicken

You can sprinkle them on mac 'n' cheese or sausage casserole and shove in the oven for a few minutes to add crunchiness. My DC 1 will eat anything if it has a breadcrumb crust baked in the oven, and within reason you can do that to all kinds of dishes.

And you can freeze your breadcrumbs too. Portion them into little freezer bags.

Have done it several times, including tonight. V easy, I serve with a green salad.
