tomorrow night and I need a nice tomato sauce recipe that I can hide veggies in as his friend does not eat veggies.

Also, what do I do with the veggies - roast them then blitz them into the sauce?

I would roast some cherry tomatoes, courgette and red peppers then blitz them and add to a simmering pot of passata which has 1tbsp balsamic vinegar, 1 tbsp worcester sauce and 1 tbsp red pesto.

I'd not attempt to hide veg for a visiting child. I feed them whatever they eat, just as I would do for a visiting adult.

Thanks sharond was thinking of that.

Me too snow after several unsuccessful meals now I just usually give them pizza and chips, fish fingers and chips, sausage and chips...you get the idea. Apart from his bf who is fab. He will eat any bizarre thing I am cooking up Smile

With one particular friend I have also learnt to serve the food up and not to put it all on the table after he put the entire bowl of chips on his plate...Shock

How did it go tigga?
