Does anyone know where I can purchase 100% non halal lamb, chicken and beef from as I am a Christian. Thanks.

Mister Tesco?

My first Xmas Biscuit of the season!

Alexander20 · 03/12/2013 15:36

Why not?

sonlypuppyfat · 03/12/2013 16:19

Ask at your local butcher

HomeHelpMeGawd · 03/12/2013 16:49

Christians aren't forbidden from eating halal food.

If you don't want to eat halal food because it's made by and for Muslims, go away and examine your prejudices.

If you don't want to eat halal food because you think it's cruel, then buy organic, and start worrying about how animals are treated in all the moments prior to slaughter.

Alexander20 · 03/12/2013 16:53

Neither. As asked previously, would appreciate supplier. Thanks

Am I being thick or isn't most meat in most supermarkets non-halal?? Prob depends where you are, but i have never seen anything marked as halal at all in my local lidl/sainsburys/tesco

JamNan · 03/12/2013 19:13

Alexander20
Why not try Google for a supplier's name and stop wasting our time?

mrspremise · 03/12/2013 19:33

this

HarrietSchulenberg · 03/12/2013 19:41

Local butcher. He/she will know where their meat comes from.

Alexander20 · 03/12/2013 19:41

I've tried but not much success. Sorry if you thought I a time waster. God bless.

I thought any meat NOT labelled halal was by default non-halal?

JamNan · 03/12/2013 20:00

Why don't you slaughter it yourself Alexander20?
Chickens and fish aren't too difficult. Then you'll know exactly how 'Christian' your meat is.

sonlypuppyfat · 03/12/2013 20:15

Slightly odd thread.

Alexander20 · 03/12/2013 20:21

Ugly, very. Enjoy your meat.

You are a bit of an odd fish arent you. You give religious people a bad name with your warped views. Try a farm shop or google a supplier but I suppose it is more fun for you to start a potential bunfight

OddBoots · 03/12/2013 20:26

Try a Jewish butcher, then it'll be Kosher so can't be halal. I'm guessing you wouldn't mind eating meat killed the same way it would have been killed for Jesus to eat? Unless you think he was veggie, then it might be best to be veggie yourself.

HomeHelpMeGawd · 03/12/2013 21:23

Perhaps people would be more willing to help you if you would actually state your reasons for wanting non-halal food. Not cruelty, not because it's made by or for Muslims ... What's left? Especially, what could it possibly have to do with Christianity?

TheGonnagle · 03/12/2013 21:25

I am bewildered.

sonlypuppyfat · 03/12/2013 21:35
