I've bought two cans on offer and not sure what to do with them if there are any suggestions? Preferably savoury

Chop an onion, and a couple of sticks of celery. Throw those in a bowl with 4oz chopped mushrooms, 6oz chopped nuts, 4oz grated cheese, handful chopped parsley, squeeze lemon juice and a good twist of black pepper. Put in one tin of chestnut puree and get your hands in there and squeeze the whole lot through your fingers until you get a nice even 'pate' . Pile all that onto rolled out flakey pastry and fold over the pastry so it looks like a Russian fish pie.

Bake at 200 c for 15 minutes, then turn oven down to 180 c for about 40 minutes.

That's what we will be having for Christmas lunch.

YUM! May well do that for my Xmas lunch too (I'm veggie, DH is a butcher - go figure)
