you could puree them in yoghurt or in a smoothie?

Or you could put them in a cake?

Buy some raspberries/strawberries/blackcurrents and make a summer pudding. We have got a major redcurrent problem at the momment, my mum bought a house with a redcurrent bush in the garden, we have got 2 bucket fulls and don't know what to do with them. Have frozen some and pulped the rest for jelly. Apparently they make OK jam if mixed in with strawberries.

The Guardian magazine today has got a recipe for coffee meringue with cream and summer fruits - WITH RED CURRENTS. It looks delicious, I would love a slice of that.

Mix them with stewed apples and make a fruit tart?

TooTicky · 15/07/2006 13:21

Eat them!!! I love them and we only have enough in our garden to be tantalising.
