Parsnips and carrots

Do you roast parsnips and carrots together? What's your method?

Yes, I do. I cut them all into same size-ish chunks, I par boil the carrotts for a few minutes, then tip them all in a tray with a bit of oil, some seasoning and roast them with the rest of the oven stuff until they are cooked and a wee bit brown. They don't really go that crispy though.

Yeah, I find rape seed oil can make them crispy but it takes a lot of it and I don't like to use too much oil.
