HELP what can I do with some Beef Mince, quick and easy

I hate cooking and I nominated my dh as the family cook. He obviously is not keen as he is coming home later and later (have visions of him sitting in a layby in the vain hope that by 6pm I might of started on something)

I have got the cookery books out twice and looked at recipes but I just cannot be arsed with all the prep. and have put them back on the shelf to collect dust.

I do believe that I have conveniently forgotten how to cook!!! Help before my ds starves to death.

chop an onion into it, fry, and serve in buns with salad.

This sounds disgusting, but at a very low point when I couldnt think about anyting more adventurous I have done it, and the kids ate it...

Put some pasta shapes on to boil. Meanwhile fry mince until done, then add a tin of baked beans, then stir in the pasta and serve.

Told you it sounded disgustingm, but it didnt taste too bad!!

do you have any jars of psata sauce? Tonight we're having mince in pasta chilli sauce with pasta and cheese sauce. With peas and bread.

CountessDracula · 12/07/2006 18:40

That sounds might odd!

trinityrhino · 12/07/2006 18:42

chilli con carne

just add kidney beans (or baked beans), tinned toms and some chilli powder
Ta daaaaaa

It is odd but tastes gorge. The peas are on the side and the bread is baguette. It's like easy lasagne.

Probably far too late now but the quickest thing is home-made burgers
