Yoghurt Gone Off

Feeling guilty.

Just gave ds a yoghurt and noticed that the lid seemed a bit more dome-shaped than usual but didn't think anything of it. Still within date.

About half way through, he tells me he doesn't like Strawberry yoghurts and that he's had enough. This is unusual enough for him that I decide to taste it. UGH! Tastes all yeasty and foul - must have gone off/fermented some how?!

He'd eaten quite a bit (and I've obviously had a spoonful) - is it likely to have been harmful or just bad tasting?

(we're both eating smarties now - partly from guilt factor, partly to take the taste away!)

georgina dont worry to much about it he should be fine best to just keep an eye on him ad his nappies as long as the yoghurt never seperated you should be ok but if he starts complaining of stomach ache just get it checked out by your doctor also if you keep you yoghurt in the fridge contact the people who make it and make a serios complaint as it should have been fine for human cumpsomtion if its still within date and plus remember all yoghurt basicaly is is gone of milk or fermented milk but realy it should be fine
