Frozen leeks - how do I cook them?

My mum has given me some of those frozen leek chunks and I'm wondering how I cook them? Can I just add them to a casserole for DS (10months)without defrosting them first? Also have some frozen fruit - do I have to cook this first or can I just let it defrost before giving it to DS? TIA

You can just stick them in the casserole, the heat will cook them through.

What kind of fruit? Usually you can just defrost and eat, but some fruits go mushy when they defrost and are better cooked as it's easier to eat them that way!

Hi Wigwam - I think one bag was of mixed berries and another was of rasberries
