What? No Black Pudding, Liver, Lamb Chop, Pork Chop, Tomato or Kidneys?

Middleagedmotheroftwo · 13/11/2013 15:23

Yes, of course - that would be fine! Though you could just call it sausage, bacon, egg and chips. Sounds yum!

GinOnTwoWheels · 13/11/2013 15:59

Have you got any baked beans? Because you could then serve Egg Bacon Chips & Beans

That's called an English Breakfast in our house and yes, it is always eaten in the evening, never for breakfast! Extremely popular it is, too, and a rare treat. I do grilled tomatoes/baked beans with it, just to get one of our 5 a day in there.

That's what I was thinking SHD, but I really don't want to venture out again tonight so English breakfast for tea it is!

Why do you have to call it anything?

Last night we had a "fry up" as its known in our house - bacon, egg, chips and beans. Yummy.

Yes, it's a fry up! Very popular in our house at any time of the day or night!
