I'm in the middle of making a carrot/leek/lentil soup and was going to make bread, but I'm not in the mood for soup for tonight's dinner as it is, so need something nice to go with it that will make me think OOh yum!
Any ideas?

A cheesy jacket potato as a side?, spicy wedges?

Yorkshire puddings. I always have them with soup.

Cheese scones - nice and warm from the oven and so quick to make. I love these with soup.

I've just made a lovely spicy butternut squash soup and had it with a tuna cheese tortilla wrap dunked in. Yummmmm

Sausage rolls. Or cheese and spring onion quesadillas. Or blue cheese an hazelnut palmiers.

Well I abandoned the soup and had a chinese takeaway.
10 hours it took for a reply to my post, that's the trouble with you food people, never on MN when I need you because you're in the bloody kitchen cooking stuff :o
Have noted your ideas for when I remove the soup from the freezer though, thanks.
