I have no ramekins! Can I use a cake tin instead?

Am planning to make a sticky toffee pudding at the weekend. The recipe stipulates ramekins but I don't think mine are oven-proof (and I don't want to find out they're not on the day ).

Do you think I could use a cake tin instead?

John i think your recipe only says ramekins cos they are classed as individuals i guess and probaly look nice and are a portion size, but theres no reason why you couldnt make it in a tin.
