Gobbledigook · 07/07/2006 16:13

Use it in pasta.

I make a cheese sauce and add chopped ham and spinach, season (add nutmeg too) adn then mix with penne pasta. Put whole thing in a baking dish with parmesan on top and bake for 20 mins. Yum

SoMuchToBits · 07/07/2006 16:13

Put some on top of a pizza.

Eggs Florentine.

Spinach and Ricotta lasagne.

MrsBadger · 07/07/2006 16:14

we just eat it as a side veg
best is fry onion & garlic till soft, then bung in couple of handfuls spinach straight from freezer, stir, poke etc till thawed & wilted, then either just sling on plates or mix into rice - there's a proper Indian name for this but can't remember it.
Or make saag dhal?

Kelly1978 · 07/07/2006 16:15

spinach and ricotta lasagne, a cold pasta salad, palak chicken, paneer, potato or lamb, stuff peppers with spinach and rice, bung it in a quiche with bacon,

I love spinach

Here's a spinach recipe.With salmon.

preheat oven to 190, gas mark 5.

place pieces of salmon on a clean, flat surface.season and lay on a generous layer of spinach.roll up and brush lightly with oil,and arrange in an oven proof dish (greased). Bake for 6-8 mins.remove rolled salmon pieces from oven. Coat the tops with cream cheese(with snipped chives if wished) andplace under a hot grill ubtil bubbling. Serve hot or cold with crusty bread or salad.

n.b. I would probably thaw the spinach first.

sugarfree · 07/07/2006 16:29

oooh criky yes, defrost first and squeeze excess water out.

nailpolish · 07/07/2006 16:30
