Really like the look of this Kmix one but a few reviews about it breaking quite easily.

Budget is about £50 as it'll be a Christmas present for myself from DH not that he knows yet Grin so if anyone has any better suggestions they would be most welcomed.

Kmix is the only one I've bought NOT to break - its a metal body and much sturdier than others. Only issue so far is the rubber handle bit is sort of twisting around - time for a letter to Kenwood maybe!!

It's a good work horse of a mixer, quite heavyish but then it feels like it won't break like some of the plastic bodied ones - looks nice too.

I've got the k-mix one. It's excellent. No problems with it at all.

I have a tesco value one, purchased 10 years ago for about a fiver. Still going strong!

I hope you don't mind me hijacking this thread, but I would like to get DD a light hand held mixer for Christmas. The Kmix sounds like it might be too heavy. Can anyone suggest anything?
