Bust my Magimix - any hope?

I was just thinking last night how useful my Magimix is with a family to feed. And then I broke it.

I somehow managed to get the slicing plate to slice into the plastic of the lid and get stuck. Now the spindle thing you put on to attach the slicing plate to is jammed on. Nothing happens when I press a button now.

Has anyone had the same and managed to get it fixed? It is about 5 or 6 years old.

I love my magimix!

Magimix are great I have a magimix that must be over 35 years old and I recently broke the lid. I was very surprised and delighted that I was still able to get a replacement lid for such an old model. Well done magimix
