Brown Bananas...

What do you do with yours?
Got a bunch that are rather unattractive but fine to be eaten, but I've given my kids my aversion to eating them straight haha
Was going to bake later anyway so might as well go with the banana whilst I'm at it!

So what are your best recipes for using up brown bananas?

I made this recently - tastingspoons.com/pdf/BreadsQuick/prize_winning_banana_bread.pdf

Very yummy and moist too!

I always make banana cake with mine. If I don't have time I peel them and bung them in the freezer for when I do have time.

Banoffee pie?

ice cream. Take of the skins, break into pieces and freeze as quickly as possible. Two hours later whizz the bits in a processor and immediately scoop into cones.

The kids think it's the best ice cream ever and it's actually only 2 mins work.

Mombs idea of ice cream works particularly well with a spoonfull of Nutella swirled through the whizzed banana ime
