steak has brown running through it. is.it ok to eat?

Prepacked with sell by of 28 Oct doesn't smell rest looks fine nut when I've sliced through it looks abit brown what do u think. Packaging was fine

if it doesn't smell it's probably alright. Any smell will increase with cooking.
