Carrots with lemon juice

Just thought I´d share it with you.. Finely grated carrots missed with fresh lemon juice make a lovely salad! Really sweet and yummy and cheap!

i add roasted seaseme & sunflower seeds. v. tasty.

MMMM... will def give that a go!! Even healthier and tastier!

you can also put in black mustard seeds.

Are mustard seeds and black mustard seeds different? I´m actually looking for mustard seeds at the mo for something slse..

You can get yellow mustard seeds or black mustard seeds, I think. I guess either would work with carrots though.

Most big supermarkets will sell black mustard seeds - might be in the 'ethnic' or Asian section.

Thanks for inspiration, did this yesterday with roasted sunflower seeds and it was fab.

My mother used to serve it as a starter with a sardine on top, but I don't think dh will go for that!
