The George foreman? You can take the plates out and stick in the dw

The waring/cuisinart that they sell in Tesco or Argos have removeable plates and are easy to wash.
The machines are identicle but are sold under different brand names.

Bags that go in the toaster are fantastic.

duckyfuzz · 22/10/2013 14:55

we have this one with removable plates

JollyScaryGiant · 22/10/2013 14:56

I so need one of these. What a great idea.

Use a frying pan dry just butter the bread on the outside - best ever toasties Grin

bruffin cuisinart I looked at but tis ££, so waring is the same thing?

bleedin I'll try that.

valium we had those but were a pita to clean and when we didn't use them for a while smelt of cheese Blush

I spotted this here and went for it. It's relatively cheap and looks easy to clean/says it's dishwasher safe. Will let you know how it goes.

We have this one. I love it. The plates are fantastically non stick so the only cleaning we ever do is a quick wipe down with kitchen paper.

bruffin · 22/10/2013 16:02

The Waring and Cuisinart are identical. You can get it for about £40 from Tesco.

valiumredhead · 22/10/2013 17:35

The ones I had you just washed with soapy water, they were sort of plasticky.

Reastie · 22/10/2013 17:50

Sounds like the ones we had valium maybe it's just me then . The one I linked to upthread is arriving tomorrow, fingers crossed for me :)

We have the same as Lunaballoon. It is fab, originally bought as a gift for a relative. Got another for our house as it really is that easy to use and clean.

Loads of useful buying tips here - would be great to see some of these toasters and grills reviewed in our Reviews section. Only takes a moment and would be very helpful to other Mumsnetters.
