Ideas to use up stale fairy cakes please

Had dc3's christening last weekend and have several fairy cakes left over. They are not iced so am thinking could make crumbs with them for something but not sure what! All ideas gratefully received.

Hadn't thought if trifle ta. Not many birds as our moggy scares them off! Was thinking about a treacle tart.

Crumble them, put them on top of stewed fruit, sprinkle with sugar and bake? Sort of cakey take on a crumble? Might work.

Trifle sounds good tho'

Crumbly thing sounds good as I've got some lush plums I stewed up with cinnamon to use up too. Ta
