I have googled recipes and there are A LOT. Does anyone have a good tried and tested one? Many thanks Smile

Can't remember exact recipe but the one in the Wartime Farm book is nice.

Basically is condensed milk, icing sugar, desiccated coconut and pink food colouring.

Will look it out for you later, if you want Smile

I LOVE condensed milk. I used to eat it from the can with a spoon until I discovered that you could get squeezy bottles Blush

This is a simple and fab recipe - mix 400g of icing sugar, 400g desiccated coconut and one tin (397g) condensed milk. Line a shallow baking tray with clingfilm then put half the mix in and smooth it out with a fork. Add 1/2 teaspoon pink colouring to the rest of the mix, stir it through till it's pink all over, then press it on top of the white layer. Cover top with clingfilm, leave it in the fridge for an hour or two, then turn it out using the clingfilm. Cut into squares and devour.
