Recipes using Readybrek?

Hi

My dd is 1 and is anaemic. We've been advised to give her Readybrek for breakfast as it's iron fortified; she's had it for the last few weeks and seems to have enjoyed it, but just lately she doesn't seem that fussed on it and keeps refusing it. I'm panicking a bit as I am worried about her iron levels and try to ensure everything she eats contains some iron.

I was wondering if I could bake something with RB - maybe use it to replace the flour in a recipe? Preferably something for breakfast or snacks. Has anyone tried this and have a recipe to share?

TIA Smile

Not ready break, but can you give her juice with spatone mixed in? Also can you give her formula to drink (I think that is fortified?)

Vitamin drops? Chili con carne ? Kidney beans contain iron. Could use ready brek in meatballs I suppose. Oats or bread crumbs are used to bind with the egg. Ready brek is oats so should work.

Wow thanks for the suggestions! Those muffins look good, thank you!

She's on Cytron for the next couple of months to build up her supply, but I don't think the docs want her on it after that (she's due a blood test soon anyway so I'll bring it up then).

I'm still bfeeding her twice a day so don't want to start formula really.

I didn't know that about Wheetabix (not that she'll eat that now anyway), but it's got salt & sugar in it though which RB hasn't.
