I am a rubbish baker but really want to make some biscuits - help please!

It's taken me years to master (well - make semi edible ones!) cupcakes - but dp / ds aren't too fussed on cakes.

What's your best 'easyish' biscuit recipe??

These. If you undercook they will be more chewy, overcook and they are more crisp. I made 120 for work and they all went Shock

Do you like brownies? I find Jamie Oliver's brownies easy to make and hard to go wrong with. Adding 50g of chopped dried cranberries or dried cherries makes them even more moreish (add to the butter/choc mixture once it's melted)

These quick cookies are really easy to do. The recipe made about 10 quite big cookies when we tried it.

We put smarties into the mix which was very well received.
