Tesco taking the piss with their Finest range

They've put fancy new labels on it all and taken the opportunity to hike the prices up :hmm:

And I swear the quality of the sausages has gone down too. But they cost 50p more than they did.

Anyone else noticed this?

Only tonight I said to DH that I was gonna throw the Tesco finest sausages (had 2 for £5) away because they taste horrible and cook badly compared to the old ones they did!

New packaging is nice, and do like their new dessert range, but no, the quality hasn't improved!

It's partly an attempt to reassure us all about where their food comes from in the wake of the horse eat scandal. So it's backfiring slightly if you find their sausages are worse quality

They were meant to be lowering prices though

I can guarantee your local butcher will be far cheaper and better quality.

It's time to dump TESCO (and the rest) for anything fresh.
