Dried onions. Am I the only fan?

A food cupboard staple and great for quick casseroles and soups. Tescos no longer stock them but Waitrose does.

They don't sweat watery juice and make a casserole thick and lovely and the 'onion' taste is very concentrated.

I went through a period of using these. . got them from Asian shops. .. very good but then I realised how long real onions last for anyway. . but I agree great thing to throw in for flavour without the hassle of cutting onions

My mum swears by them, I don't know why I've never used them really. I suppose I would use a lot as we use a lot of onions in cooking. My mum gets hers from Morrisons if that helps.
